This section was created for college students in mind. It is my goal to give students of ecology, political science, biology, economics, sociology, anthropology, et .al. in-depth information and examples of sustainable development upon which to base well-informed, in-class discussions. It is my hope that the student will apply this knowledge to exams, and to post-graduate and professional work as well. 'Professor Merlin' is an Anthropologist in Tasmania, Australia and is an active member of the Green political party. He is currently writing his doctoral dissertation, and is working to change the effects of industrial capitalism in his home state by persuading the power politicians to focus on the benefits of local communities as opposed to global economics.
